SIEGE CyberOps, through its Augusta University affiliation, has developed multiple government and private industry partnerships to provide employment and internship opportunities to current students, recent graduates, and military members. Augusta University and Fort Gordon Career Skills Program have developed employment skills training opportunities for Soldiers approaching the end of their military service.
The Career Skills Program (CSP) program provides real-life learning opportunities by enrolling Soldiers as CSP interns for 120 days in the SIEGE CyberOps.
As a CSP intern, you will have the opportunity to be in the SIEGE CyberOps Security Operations Center, working with one of three components:
Governance, Risk, and Compliance: Hands-on training on the importance of risk management policies, cybersecurity awareness training, and corporate strategies. Learn the sophistication of cybersecurity analytics and levels of insight for data-driven decisions for various AU systems.
Engineering: On-the-job training utilizing world-class technology, such as CISCO, Tenable, Absolute, and Microsoft Suite tools. Build solutions to protect the organization and develop technical security controls across the AU Enterprise.
Cybersecurity Operations: Utilize various cybersecurity tools, such as Sentinel and Defender, for threat detection, analysis, and prevention on devices across the AU Enterprise.
